Hello again,
The problem is getting worse, now forwarding to Yahoo is even losing a few e-mails (they’re not in the spam folder either, just really vanished). Forwarding to Hotmail seems okay.

I was pleased to see some of the early issues with the new UI addressed. But one of the main complaints here and on previous threads is the font size and white space issue. Ponnusamy says:
‘But we have to make few choices ( like font size, spacing ) for the majority of users & cannot meet every users taste.’
Do I take this to mean that the many users like me who are scrolling endlessly to find data that used to be visible on a single screen are stuck with it? This is NOT a matter of taste – it’s about usability, the very thing Zoho claim to be improving! Please please either:
a) explain why you think acres of white space improves usability (as someone above eloquently says, it’s the black bits that provide information, and in any case I can’t recall reading any complaints about users having difficulty with the font size on the old UI)! or
b) spare our eyesight and scrolling tackle by giving us the option to at least change the font size, better still the line spacing too

Thanks for your reply, I’ll do that.
Hi,
I have tried this out and was disappointed – it doesn’t come close to the google implementation that I am hoping to replace. The problems I found with it are:
- no “agenda” view available among the templates
- the various templates don’t show which calendar an entry is from
- the closest to achieving this was template no 5, which does display the calendar name in its colour. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be enabled for multiple calendars since it only displays one in spite of my choosing five calendars.
- the person viewing the calendars cannot choose a subset of them.
- some of the templates didn’t allow you to browse the calendars earlier then today
So, unless I’ve missed some options somewhere, I’m sorry but I won’t be able to use this for the moment. If you want to see what I’m trying to achieve, please look at our church website (www.stjohnsalresford.org.uk) and choose “benefice diary” from the menu.
Thank you for keeping me informed of progress and I will continue to watch for any further developments.
